OTHER REFUNDS DUE TO CLIENTS

Other Refunds due to clients may arise due to a number of reasons.  It include, inter alia

Estimates for Electricity and/or Water paid were too high.

Incorrect billing was paid.

Assessment rates paid, and then there was a revaluation of the property, or the category of the property was changed (for instance from Vacant to Residential) with an early effective date

Deposits which must be repaid if a tenant vacates the premises.

 

The requirements for the re-payment of these refunds are

1.            A request by the Account holder requesting Council to pay the Refund with an explanation of how the credit arose.

2.            A copy of the latest statement.

3.            A copy of the deposit slip where the amount was paid to Council.

4.            Your bank details, including a cancelled cheque or a copy of the bank statement.

5.            A Power of attorney in favour of us to represent you, including a copy of the person who sign the Power of Attorney’s ID.  If it is a company to whom the Refund must be paid, a copy of the Cipro proof of the appointment as director of the company (CM 29 or, in the case of a CC, the CK1 or CK2).
